Colorado State Capitol Building Renovations, Denver, CO
One of our most exciting Design-Assist projects was the historical renovation of the House and Senate Chambers at the Colorado State Capitol (built in 1894). The goal of this project set forth by the Colorado Legislature was to restore the chambers back to the appearance of the 1905 period and update the rooms for modern acoustics. The electrical aspects of this project project involved the installation of new LED lighting, refeeding the electrical wiring to the refurbished grand chandeliers in both the House and Senate chambers, providing power and controls for the new chandelier lifts/winches, installation of the revised lighting control system and installation of new branch power and lighting throughout.
